Gifting.

Reminder, you have until the end of the year to give up to $18k to as many people as you want without having to file a gift tax return (or do anything).

You can gift to an individual, to a trust, and if you’re married, you can both make an $18k gift to someone.

Also, in addition to the $18k limit for individuals, you can also pay for education and medical expenses (to the institution) without any limit.

Have a grandkid in daycare or private school? Write a check for their tuition without limits (and no returns to file).

As we come up on the end of the year everything seems more urgent.

I like that. :)

And, I’d love for that urgency to move through the beginning of 2025.

The idea of urgency is just something we create in our minds – why don’t we use it to get more done in January?
