Making the Most out of 2022 | Rich Life Letter #017

If you know me well at all you know I’ve got a laundry list of things I want to do in 2022.

I want to open more locations of CMS Law Firm so we can help more people.

I want to take up jiu jitsu (without getting hurt lol).

I want to get back to a single digit golf handicap player.

I want to travel to some new places.

I want to maintain my health and fitness.

There are a bunch of things I want to do.

But do you know what I’m NOT doing?

I’m not trying to do it all at once.

I’m picking one thing at a time (or two or three if they are simple) and waiting until they become ingrained before I do the next thing.

I’m not trying to open 4 locations at once. I’m starting with number two first (which, by the way, we just opened in Renton! If you know people in the area that need help, let them know about us!).

I’m not going to jiu jitsu 5 times a week – I’m going to create a habit of going once a week.

I think sometimes with the turn of the year we are so excited to make changes to our lives, to improve what we’re doing, to see our true potential, that we try to do too much at once.

The result is disappointment only a few weeks into the year.

I don’t want 2022 to turn out that way for me, and I don’t want it to turn out that way for you.

The beauty of this life is that we can have it all, IF we just take the time to work on those things we want one at a time, little by little, step by step.

Here’s to a great 2022.

And if you’re up for it, hit me up and share a couple of your goals. I’d love to hear from you!

Sincerely,

Christopher Small
