Olympic Dreams… | Rich Life Letter #073
Happy Sunday!
No big estate planning tips this week – the Olympics are on!
Every four years when the Olympics roll around I always think to myself, “I’m going to find a really off the wall, niche, Olympic sport, get really good at it, and then qualify for the Olympics!”
Then I start watching the athletes compete, and I quickly remember, “oh yeah, the people in those sports are REALLY good and have been practicing and working on their skills for years to get to where they are.”
It always makes me appreciate their efforts even more – because they definitely aren’t doing it for the money. It’s all love of the game.
And I guess there is one crossover here as I write this.
The reason we only do estate planning and probate (which could be considered a niche legal practice) is because we want to get REALLY good at it, and we know the only way to do that is to practice and focus and work on our skills for a very long time.
And that’s exactly what we do, and that’s why we have the skills we have.
In any event, I hope whatever country you’re rooting for has a great showing, and there’s lots of drama and inspiring stories that unfold.
Have a great week!
Cheers.
