#RichLifeLawyer Show 44: How to Pick a Guardian When No Good Choices
How to Pick a Guardian When No Good Choices
Today’s show didn’t necessarily originally start out about how to pick a guardian when there are no good choices, but the message fits in just as good.
The main point is this – even your “okay” choice, your best choice out of all of your choices, is going to be better than the choice of a judge.
And, the fact is, if it’s a tough choice for you, if there are no obvious choices, it’s going to be even that much more difficult for a judge to choose.
Putting Off Estate Planning Choices Won’t Help
Sometimes it can feel good to just sit on something and hope it won’t be needed. But estate planning and guardianship choices are not optimal places to do that.
We do know one thing about each and every one of us. We are going to die.
And that is why making these decisions is so important.
What we don’t know is where, when, and how.
If you don’t find the courage to make these choices and take these actions, you are doing a disservice to your family.
Stop procrastinating and start making choices. Today.
Cheers,
