Presidential Politics and How to Take Action
This is an email newsletter I recently sent out to my people. If you want don’t want to miss this type of content, please subscribe to my newsletter by clicking here.
No, don’t worry, this isn’t a political post. We’ve had plenty of those already.
But it is a post about politics.
I have to be honest, I’m not extremely political, but I can’t take my eyes off of presidential races. For me it’s not about the politics, or the drama.
I love the language of it all.
That sounds so “lawyery” as I write it, but it’s true. I am fascinated by the way the things we say and the way we say them make people react, make people respond, make people take action.
Most elections don’t yield much in the way of education.
Politicians get up there, they say the same things, and people simply toe their party lines.
The winners don’t win because their message resonates, they win because more of “their” people decide to vote.
But this year was different.
One candidate had a message that resonated with people like few messages ever had before.
Now, irrespective of the content of the message, its effect is incontrovertible. People who hadn’t voted voted. People crossed party lines. People made what some would consider an irrational choice.
People took action.
Why does that matter to me? Why am I so fascinated by this?
I am doing everything I can to find the message that will get people, that will get you, to take an action that can and will alter your life, the lives of your children, and the lives of many generations thereafter.
I am talking about creating your estate plan.
And, no, I’m not being hyperbolic when I talk about how important it is. I’m not over-exaggerating.
Your plan will take of your family when you are alive, it will take care of them when you are gone, and will help you pass along the most important asset you have – your intellectual property.
I’m talking about your stories, your life lessons, your traditions, your values, all of the things that make you and your family special.
Couple that with bountiful financial opportunities and the sky is the limit.
My goal with this email and with all of my emails is three-fold: to educate, to entertain, and to inspire action.
If you are one of my people who has yet to take any action to create your estate plan, or if you know it’s time to take the next step, hit reply to this email and let me know. I’m ready to help.
