These clients were a married couple in their seventies, with three adult children. Their goal was to create a plan that provided for their children, and gave instructions in regard to what they would like to happen if they ever became incapacitated or after they were deceased.
We created a will plan for both them, which each included a:
- Will;
- Financial Power of Attorney;
- Medical Power of Attorney;
- Health Care Directive; and
- Disposition Instructions.
The Power of Attorney documents provide for them if they are in a situation in which they cannot make financial or medical decisions for themselves.
We created the Health Care Directive to provide instructions for what the clients would like to happen to them if they are ever in a permanent vegetative state, and for end-of-life decisions.
