This client was a married woman with one minor child, but the plan we created was only for her and not her husband. She wanted to provide for her daughter and make sure that her daughter was taken care of.
We prepared a Will Plan for her that contained a:
- Will;
- Financial Power of Attorney;
- Healthcare Power of Attorney; and
- Advance Healthcare Directive.
The Will enables the client to accomplish her goals in providing for her daughter, and also designates a guardian if anything happens to her when her daughter is still a minor.
The Power of Attorney documents provide for the client in the event of her incapacity.
The Advance Healthcare Directive includes end of life decisions and states what the client would want to happen to her if she ever enters into a permanent vegetative state.
