This client was a single woman with no children, who wanted to provide for herself in case she was to become incapacitated. Because she had no children, she wanted to provide beneficiaries to designate who her estate would go to.
We created a Will plan for her, which included a:
- Will;
- Financial Power of Attorney;
- Healthcare Power of Attorney; and
- Healthcare Directive.
The Will designates where the client’s assets will go when she is deceased.
The Power of Attorney documents provide for the client in the event of her incapacity.
The Healthcare Directive states what the client would like to happen to her if she is ever incapacitated.
