This client was a single woman with two adult children. She wanted to provide for her children and also wanted a deed completed to cause her property to be transferred to her children on her death.
We created a Will plan for her, which included a:
- Will;
- Financial Power of Attorney;
- Healthcare Power of Attorney;
- A Healthcare Directive; and
- Transfer on Death Deed.
The Power of Attorney documents provide for the client in the event of her incapacity.
The Healthcare Directive includes the client’s preference in regard to end of life decisions, and states what she would want to happen to her if she enters into a permanent vegetative state.
