Happy Sunday! And, if you’re a dad, Happy Father’s Day!

I grew up with two dads. My biological dad, and my step-dad.

Both were in my life, but in very different ways.

And both shaped me for the better I’d like to think.

Now that I’m a dad, it amazes me how much influence one has over their kids, and how much they can make you feel like they don’t care about you at the same time. :)

One thing I tell people when talking about parenting and the fear a lot of people have about messing up is this: whenever I watch a documentary about someone that grew up with a really tough life, the one thing most of them mention is how much they’d like to have their parents in their life.

So, all you dads out there, just do your best. It’s good enough. You’re always going to be “dad.”

To wrap this up, I thought I’d use a quote I thought was spot on.
