Happy Sunday, and Happy New Year (in a few days)!

Before I get into this weeks’ message, a reminder that we’ll be back in the office tomorrow, so if you’ve been waiting to hear from us during our Christmas break, we’ll be back.

Now, let’s get into today’s topic – Happy New Year!

I love the end of the year because it gives a great opportunity to reflect on what’s happened and look ahead to the future.

And no, I don’t do resolutions – I do goals and then get to work accomplishing those goals.

How do I do that? It’s pretty straightforward: (1) I write out my perfect day, hour by hour – what I’d want to do if I could do anything; and then (2) I pick something out of my perfect day and make it a reality.

The truth is, I’m pretty close to that perfect day right now.

I hope you are too.

The last thing I wanted to talk about real quick is what we’re working on at CMS for 2026.

If you’ve worked with us recently then you already know the team is REALLY running on all cylinders. We’ve got a great group and we’re doing great work.

The focus for me for the first half of 2026 is going to be finding new ways to bring additional value to our clients AFTER their plan is complete.

We do a little of that now, but we’re going to be a lot more intentional about it (more to come on this in our newsletter next week).

Once that is dialed in I’ll take a look at the next best thing for the team and we’ll go from there – and, to give you a hint, it’s probably going to be continuing to grow this awesome team.
