Happy Sunday!

Before I get into my topic(s) of the week, please read this entire newsletter. There’s some logistical stuff you don’t want to miss…

Okay, let’s go! :)

First, do you know what today is? It’s favorite, and least favorite day of the year.

Why?

It’s the winter solstice. Shortest day of the year. Sun came up at 7:54am and went down at 4:19pm.

That’s simply unacceptable.

However… with the shortest day of the year behind us, the only direction we have to go is up!

Pretty soon we’ll be hanging out on the back deck in the sun past 9pm (and boy am I ready for that).

Second, Merry Christmas! I don’t care if you don’t observe it – it’s a fun time and you deserve some cheer.

And, with that being said, I also know this can be one of the HARDEST times of the year, particularly for those that have lost loved ones (which, unfortunately, brings people into our world from time to time).

I wanted to take this opportunity to offer some holiday cheer to you.

If you’re having a tough time and need someone to talk to, just shoot me an email and I’ll call you ASAP.

Everyone deserves someone to share a moment with – I’m happy to be that person.

Third, and finally, I have plenty of time to chat because our office is closed from noon, December 23 through December 28.

My team works SO HARD throughout the year to serve all of you and show up every day, so it’s only appropriate that they get a few days to hang out with their family, drink some eggnog, and see what Santa puts under the tree for them.

We’ll be back to work on Monday ready to help you if you need it.
